Targeted Call for Applications: Charities Sector

The Distributing Agency for Charities, established in terms of the Lotteries Act (No. 57 of 1997, as amended) is once again in the position to consider applications for funding from the proceeds of the National Lottery. 


This targeted call for applications is aimed at the advancement of Centres of Excellence for Early Childhood Development (ECD) in the country.

Since 2003, The International Land Coalition (ILC) has grown to a coalition of 152 organisations representing 56 countries, working together to promote secure and equitable access to land for rural people, mainly through capacity building, knowledge sharing and advocacy.


The ILC announces a new initiative called the Facility in Support of Innovative and High Impact Targeted Interventions on the ground (FTI).

It was established by legislation for the purpose of carrying out philanthropic activities using revenue from motorboat racing. The Nippon Foundation is an independent, nonprofit, grant-making organisation that provides aid to projects related to public welfare in Japan, voluntary programmes in Japan, maritime and ship-related projects, and overseas cooperative assistance.
